Will.I.Am respects the legend: Say's he won't release unreleased work he did with Michael Jackson.
written by Abdul Spadez - July 2nd, 2009
This is what I love to see in the industry. Why? Because you don't see it anymore. In a field where artists become more money hungry and power driven by the nano-second, it's nice to see a snapshot of actual respect and humbleness.

According to the Daily Star, will.i.am has revealed that he has no plans to, "leak" the new material he recorded with Michael Jackson. Unlike probably every other artist on this planet, Will insists he's not interested on the giant money pit he'd dive into because of the demand for Jackson's music, since the icon passed away last week. Here's the quote:

"I don't know what I'm going to do with the songs but I won't leak them or give them to another artist," he told the Daily Star.

At the end of the day, this is a definite good look for Will. His name is already in a little hot water as it is for the Perez Hilton saga, even though most would argue he was in the right. (Me being one of them). Also, I don't think he will have an issue financially, since his group's newest album is on course to sell at least 1.3 million copies of, "The E.N.D." by the end of the year, with the album already topping 540,000 copies sold last week.

The rapper, who previously remixed the late King Of Pop's 1982 single 'The Girl Is Mine', recently claimed that he had completed a dance album with him.

Even if he would essentially be a multi-millionaire if the tracks were released (and whose to say eventually they won't come out), I think if Will.I.Am was such a follower of Jackson, he wouldn't jeapordize that for anyone.

Good job, Will. Good job!
